Funding your Study Abroad Experience
The Office of international Education is well aware that the largest factor in a student's decision to study abroad is cost.
We remain committed to offering low-cost, high-impact programs for MDC students.
Since every student's financial situation is unique, we strongly recommend you visit the Financial Aid Office on your home campus to inquire about financial aid. Ask what options are available to you for studying abroad in the summer semester.
Below is general information we were given by the Financial Aid Department:
The Florida Medallion and Florida Scholars Bright Futures programs are available to cover summer funding. There is a cap of 45 credit hours for the academic year. Please note that eligible students need to enroll in at least 6 credits (in summer) to receive funding. For more details, please visit the Financial Aid Office on your home campus.
