MDC Faculty-Led Program Information
The Office of International Education is proud to offer several low-cost, high-impact faculty-led Summer programs that will fit your needs!
1) Affordability: Program costs include round-trip airfare, lodging, in-country transportation, cultural site visits and other academic activities, and most meals. *Faculty-Led program costs do not include MDC tuition, passport or visa fees (if applicable).
2) Flexibility: Not able to make a long-term commitment? No problem! Programs range in duration-- from as little as one week to as much as six weeks abroad!
3) Ease: Once you apply, the program does the rest. Upon acceptance, you will receive an itinerary and information on travel, as well as attend a pre-departure orientation.
4) Comfort and Safety: Rest assured knowing all program details have been approved for quality, comfort, and student safety. An MDC Faculty member will be travelling with you while you embark on this journey of a lifetime.
5) Credit Transfer: As all faculty-led programs are designed around one or various MDC courses, there will be no need to evaluate credit. After being accepted, your professor will guide you through course registration as with any other MDC course at your home campus. Students should meet with their academic advisor to make sure the course fits within your academic pathway.
