Funding your Study Abroad Experience
The Office of international Education is well aware that the largest factor in a student's decision to study abroad is cost. We remain committed to offering low-cost, high-impact programs for MDC students.
Applications for the Spring Term 2024 MDC General Scholarship will open soon!
Make sure you apply at https://www.mdc.edu/financialaid/scholarships/
Since every student's financial situation is unique, we strongly recommend you visit the Financial Aid Office at your home campus to inquire about financial aid. Make sure to bring your award notification with you. Ask what options are available to you for studying abroad in the summer semester. You can also join one of MDC's Financial Aid Workshop Series online or at your home campus.
The Florida Medallion and Florida Scholars Bright Futures programs are available to cover summer funding. There is a cap of 45 credit hours for the academic year. Please note that eligible students need to enroll in at least 6 credits (in summer) to receive funding.
